Disc Golf - PDGA App Reviews

Its a decent app, but it is too expensive for its lack of features and common sense. Needs ability to score doubles rounds. Needs to be smarter about the actual holes on each course. Multiple tee positions do not equate to a 36 hole course for example. Should have ability to specify different tee and hole positions for each hole. Without these features its impossible to get realistic round ratings. Needs course maps and all hole pars and distances preloaded. Should not have a limit of 6 players. Sure most of the time thats fine, but sometimes you wind up in a muddle, and the app is useless in that case.

The app is improving. I would however like to see a "drop pin" feature to all users to look up courses along their route by moving the "pin!" I would really come in handy planning disc golf, roadtrips.

Have not got an update for this app in a long time, are there any plans to improve this app??? If so please make it where you can edit players names and delete their names from my saved names. I dont care to have a casuals name saved. Hope to get a response soon!!

This would be the go to disc golf app if it only had a few more features for the money you spend... Ability to download coarse pars and hole distances... Ability to mark how far your shots are... And ability to track stats... This app needs an update.. Also would be nice to have our pdga numbers incorporated into the app!!! Update boys show people you r constantly improving this thing!!!!

Unimpressive for 5$ clams, what about showing which courses are throwing tournaments, when, requirements, etc, show past results even maybe and advertise for sponsors clubs and charities. Maybe give extra privileges to PDGA members ? For 5$ money this could be so much more and get a much bigger response from golfers.

I use this app every time I play. Its great for keeping score and keep a record of each round that I play, alone or with friends. What this app needs, and others have already said it, is the ability to add additional tee boxes/hole lengths to a course. Right now, if I put in hole distance for a round from the shorts, and then play the longs next round, the distances are irrelevant and if the par can even change. It would be great to be able to enter additional tee boxes, and have the flexibility to name them whatever I want..."Short" or "White" It would also be helpful if I could share a course with a friend via text.

This app is in desperate need of an update. There has only been one update in the 2 years Ive had it. All my rounds say "incomplete." Very disappointed after paying $4.99

Great app. Keeps scores, circles birdies, brackets penalty throws, tells you whos box it is, allows you to email the score card after and then gives an approximate round rateing. Costs 1/3 of a disc, well worth it.

Please update stony creek metro park in Shelby twp mi. It is currently set to 24 holes but has been changed to 27 holes. Thank you! Other than that I love this app

The app needs a list of upcoming events; as an easy way to keep track of tournaments, a digital copy of the rule book and a player look up.

Save your $ Save your $ Save your $ No update in almost a year. The app forum is dead, its more than obvious they dont care about improving this app, especially after having the audacity to charge five dollars. There are better DG apps available nowadays so go check those out. Consider yourself warned.

I love this app. I use it a lot while playing with friends and family. I like that it stores my info for every round I play so I can track my progress on a particular course. The only downside is, several people I play with have this app and we take turns keeping score. Although the round can be emailed to everyone in the group, it would be nice to be able to send and store the rounds from other peoples app into my own app, and vice versa, so I can continue to track my progress through the app.

The app is amazing, I love it, insanely useful. HOWEVER, there are a bunch of course around my area in MI where you have the option to play 18 instead of 24, this prevents a proper round rating and way to keep track of your average via this app because you cannot modify the amount of holes played. You can modify the length of course and tees! Please update ability to change holes played of course!!!! MUCH NEEDED!!!

I send email to someone to updated for arkansas courses they need edit. The guy said he would fix it week later nothing but other than that awesome app.

Would love to know if there is a way to inform you guys of new courses and how we would go about doing so. Enjoy the easy score keeping and sharing capabilities. Maybe add twitter sharing.

This app is a great start with lots of potential. Being able to locate courses and having that tied to the pdga database means the most access. Unfortunately I find the app to be way too unstable. It crashes about 95% of the time when I try to check course weather which really is unfortunate as that was one of my most desired features. Would like to see some stability updates as well as the inclusion of the following features: stat tracking, GPS recording of throw distances, and trend reporting (graphing your scores over time)

Its about to for a face lift guys! I use this app quite frequently and it could sure use an update!!

After recent updatei am unable to search for course (server did not respond). Also only face lift after 1 year of no updates without any additional features (metric support? change course names? export hole notes?). It is shame i have supported this app by paying for it!!!

For the price of the app, I would prefer more integration between the app and site. Not just the scorecard and course info/locator.
