Wonderful potential.
Great things have to start somewhere. The course directory is great for me, as I travel for work often. The scorecard works great. It would be a leap, but if it was completely user updated, the course length per hole, and pin locations (through photos) would set this app above the others. Never underestimate the power of the disc golf community. Imagine stepping up on a hole youve never played, with pictures of the basket, and even "recent notes" from players like, "lost a disc in the tall grass off the fairway". Another improvement that would utilize the GPS would be a shot-to-shot distance tracker. You can get immediate averages for your longest drives, and set records for yourself. These are just a few ideas Ive had that will raise the bar for this app. OH! And having the official rulebook on-demand with a keyword search (lost disc, 2 meter rule, falling putt, etc) would be awesome!! I think a PDGA member search would be cool. You would get a notification if someone using the app stepped onto the sane course your playing, and you could invite them into your scorecard when you arent even on the same hole. Now, lets see some updates for what Ive paid for!!
